I managed to get some cuts of meat that are not available near where I live. It was well worth the short drive to Pett.

Friendly and helpful people. Clean and well stocked shop with some lovely local produce including vegetables, dairy, pickle/chutney, jam, honey, juices and plenty of herbs and spices.

What a find...what a gem! We rode out and purchased the most tender & delicious pork chops we have ever tasted. We also purchased your beautiful smoked bacon and sausages for our breakfast and what a breakfastwe had. We took home monster pork chops, liver and more bacon. Stand out quality and real old fashioned top notch personal service; we feel such a fondness for this butcher shop. The home baked ham is exceptional, the bacon is the best I’ve had and even betters the London offering. Everyday chicken and all manner of beef, pork, lamb cuts are very worthy. We really enjoy all the iterms we have bought from the Old Butchers Shop  which have been big orders and knowing all the meat is from the local district which has the best flavor instead of supper markes and had no additives or plastic trays.  Good strong bags that can be put straight  into the freezer. You can choose the size of chops and allso see both sides of your joints, always willing to help and gives plent of advise. Great local shop, always full of yummy food the display always looks full to me can't understand the previous review.  Sarah runs it, it's been in her family for generations, she really takes pride in showcasing local producers including the local farm in Pett!
