A family-run sustainable Butcher's Shop in Pett
My great-uncle, Robert Whiteman, opened the Old Butcher’s Shop in Pett in 1934 under the name R. Whiteman Butcher & Poulterer. Today, though much has changed over the years, the business is back in the family and still offers a wide range of high-quality local meat, poultry, game and associated products.
It is important to us that we can not only trace our meat but know and trust the producers. All our meat is locally-sourced from farmers and breeders known to our family – in some cases for generations.
